Petri Verpackungen - Kanister Fässer Flaschen Eimer Behälter Container

Flexible, fast and reliable

  • 1991 After many years as a technical plant manager in the plastics processing industry, Peter Trinkaus decides to venture into self-employment. Together with his wife, Annegret, he founds the company PETRI Verpackungen and becomes the sales representative for the company AST Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH in Northern Germany.
  • 1992The number of orders rises rapidly, and the first warehouse is leased.
  • 1994With a clear idea of the needs of campers, the company produces the first canisters of its own design, thus developing a second branch of business.
  • 1996 Commitment, quality and reliability pay off. After only six years, the company looks for and finds a new location with larger storage capacity. The customer base continues to grow. The first office outside the family’s private house is set up and the company’s own fleet of vehicles starts with one truck.
  • 1998 PETRI Verpackungen takes over the Wehalit company - Heinrich Wenigmann Kunststoffwaren-Fabrik.
  • 2001The product programme becomes increasingly varied with the introduction of tinplate and steel products. Growing demand and a range of products constantly adapted to the requirements of the market make an even larger extension of the company’s warehousing capacity necessary.
  • 2002The company leases a site of 8,000 square metres with a warehouse of 1,000 square metres and office space. Now space is available to expand the assembly workshop. Peter and Annegret Trinkaus have created an optimal infrastructure to deal with the increasing demand for industrial packaging and the production of camping articles.
  • 2009 Peter Trinkaus dies unexpectedly on 9th September 2009 of heart failure. His wife Annegret immediately takes over the management of the company. In the same year, on 1st December 2009, their daughter Annika van Well joins the business.
  • 2013Another hall with more than 600 square metres is built. True to the its philosophy “the customers’ wishes must be fulfilled promptly” the company expands further.
  • 2017In February 2017 Justin Trinkaus, the son of the company’s founder, joins the company. Another new warehouse begins operation.
  • 2018Commitment, quality and reliability are today still the hallmarks of our business policy. Petri Verpackungen is now being run successfully by the 2nd generation of the Trinkaus family.
